In-Depth Review

Performance

The biggest reason to consider the eufy C28 Omni is performance, and on that front it looks impressively capable. The 15,000 Pa suction is strong enough to make a real difference on everyday debris like pet hair, crumbs, dust, and kibble. In a busy home, that matters more than flashy specs. A robot vacuum has to do the boring jobs well, and this one appears built for exactly that.

The mop system is equally important. Many robot vacuums can “mop,” but the results often look more like a damp wipe than a proper clean. The C28 Omni’s roller mop is designed to clean itself in real time, which should help it avoid dragging dirt around the floor. The added downward pressure also suggests better contact with the surface, which is a big advantage for dried spills and daily grime. If you have sealed hard floors, this kind of system can be a major upgrade over basic pad-based mopping robots.

On carpets, the auto-boost suction feature is another practical benefit. Rather than leaving you to adjust settings manually, the robot adapts when it senses carpeted areas. That kind of automation is what makes a robot vacuum feel truly useful instead of just convenient in theory.

Build Quality and Design

eufy generally has a strong reputation for making home cleaning products that feel thoughtfully engineered, and the C28 Omni continues that trend. The all-black design gives it a modern, understated look that should blend into most homes without drawing too much attention. More importantly, the dock is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and that means the overall system is designed around reducing daily upkeep.

The DuoSpiral brushes are a particularly welcome feature for households with pets or long hair. Anyone who has spent time cutting hair out of a roller brush knows how annoying traditional robot vacuums can be. A detangling system that prevents buildup helps keep performance more consistent over time and cuts down on maintenance. That’s not just a nice extra; for many buyers, it’s one of the main reasons to choose a model like this.

Ease of Use

One of the strongest selling points of the C28 Omni is how hands-free it aims to be. The all-in-one station handles dust emptying, mop washing, water refilling, hot-air drying, and wastewater collection. In practical terms, that means fewer chores for you between cleanings. Instead of constantly checking the robot, emptying bins, or washing mop pads by hand, you can let the system manage much of the routine maintenance.

That said, no robot vacuum is completely zero-effort. You’ll still need to keep the home reasonably clear of cords, toys, and other obstacles, and you’ll want to maintain the dock from time to time. But compared with simpler robot vacuums, this is clearly aimed at people who want a more automated experience. The iPath 2.0 navigation also helps the robot move more intelligently in low light and around furniture, which should make daily use smoother and less frustrating.

Value for Money

In terms of value, the eufy C28 Omni looks like a strong option for buyers who want premium features without moving into the most expensive tier of robot cleaners. It combines serious suction, advanced mopping, and a highly automated dock in one package, which makes it appealing for households that want to save time rather than just own another gadget.

Whether it’s the right value for you depends on how much you’ll use the mop and how much you care about reducing maintenance. If you mostly need light vacuuming once in a while, this may be more machine than you need. But if your floors collect dust quickly, if you have pets, or if you’re tired of manually washing mop pads and emptying bins, the convenience could justify the investment. How It Compares to Alternatives

Compared with basic robot vacuums, the C28 Omni offers a much more complete cleaning system. Many entry-level models can vacuum floors, but they often fall short on mopping quality, hair management, and self-maintenance. The C28 Omni is clearly built for users who want fewer interruptions and less hands-on work.

Against other mid- to upper-tier robot vacuum and mop combos, its strongest edge is the combination of real-time mop cleaning and the all-in-one station. Some competitors may offer similar suction or mapping features, but not all of them manage mop hygiene as effectively. On the other hand, buyers who want the absolute most advanced mapping or the most customizable app controls may want to compare a few alternatives before deciding. Still, for many homes, this model hits a very appealing balance of automation, cleaning power, and practicality.

Strong suction that handles pet hair, crumbs, and dust well
Self-cleaning roller mop helps deliver better streak-free results
All-in-one dock greatly reduces manual maintenance
Detangling brush design is ideal for homes with long hair or pets
Automatic carpet boost improves cleaning across mixed floor types

Docking station takes up more space than a basic robot vacuum setup
May be more advanced than some households actually need
Like most robot cleaners, it still requires occasional home prep to avoid obstacles
